Cinderella wore the gown and went to the ball, where she danced with the prince until the clock struck midnight. As she ran home, her gown turned back into rags, and her fairy godmother vanished.
The next day, the prince searched for the girl he danced with. He asked everyone he met to describe her, and finally, he found Cinderella by her footprints, which were unique because she had glass slippers. They got married, and Cinderella lived happily ever after.
